Ingredients :
Corn Flakes - 2 cups.
Mustad seeds (avalu) - 1/2 tbsp.
Cumin seeds (jeelakarra)(jeera) - 1/2 tbsp.
Hing - 1/4 tbsp.
Pea nuts (verusenaga pappu) - 2 tbsps.
cashew nuts (jeedipappu) - 2 tbsps.
Chopped Green chilli - 1 tbsp.
Chopped Onions - 1/2 cup.
Grated carrot - 4 tbsps.
Green peas (pachi batani) - 3 tbsps.
Chopped tomato - 2 tbsp.
Salt - to taste.
Oil or ghee - 4 tbsps.
Process :
- Heat 4 tbsps of oil in a pan add mustad seeds,cumin seeds,hing,peanuts,cashewnuts.fry them.
- Now add green chilli,onions,carrot.
- Cook well till onions turns to golden brown color.
- Add tomato cook it till tomato fully mashed.
- Now add green peas.fry it for 5mins.
- Now add Cornflakes mix it well.fry it for 1 min.
- Turn off flame .
- Corn flakes upma is ready to serve.
