Bringal chutney (Or) vankaya pachadi

Ingredients :

Medium Size bringal (vankayalu) - 2.

Dondakayalu (tindoora) - 2.

Tomato - 1.

Green chilli (pachimirchi) - 6.

Tamarind paste - 1 tbsp.

Sait - to taste.

For Temper :

Mustad seeds (avalu)-  1/4 tbsp.

Cumin seeds (jeelakarra) - 1/4 tbsp.

Hing - apinch.

Curry leaves (karivepaku) - 5.

Chana dal (senaga bedalu) - 1 tbsp.

Oil - 4 tbsp.

Process  :

  • Cut bringal,dondakaya,tomato into medium size pieces.
  • Heat 2 tbsps of oil in pan add green chilli,bringal,dondakaya,tomato.
  • Cook them in slow flame untill all vegtables are cooked.
  • Grind vegatables,salt,tamarind paste to a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in pan add mustad,cumin,hing,curry leaves,chana dal.
  • Add temper to chutney.
  • Vankaya pachadi is reday to serve.
