Butter Roti (or) Butter chapathi

Ingredients :

Wheat flour (goduma pindi) - 2 cups.
Butter (venna) - 1/2 cup.
Cumin seeds (zeelakarra) (jeera) - 1 1/2 tbsp.
Salt - a per taste.
Warm water - as u required.

Process :

  • Mix Wheat flour,cumin seeds,salt.
  • Make a chapathi dough by adding warm water.
  • Keep it aside by covering with a lid for 30 mins.
  • Now add some more melted butter in the dough and knead well.
  • Take small balls of dough.make hole in each round portion put some more butter and seal it.
  • Roll these balls a little,put some more butter and roll it to form rotis.
  • Cook these rotis on heat pan.
  • Spread butter on each side.
  • Now butter roti is ready to serve.
